Through the positive support and guidance of the staff, children learn much about themselves and others. They learn better coping mechanisms and receive help to combat the frustrations experienced through school.
Quest has proven its effectiveness in helping hundreds of children since 1992. Parents consistently state their high satisfaction with the program .
The Quest camper is a child with average to above average intelligence and many strengths. They may experience frustration in their lives and poor self-esteem due to a sense of failure and the lack of acceptance. They may struggle in finding stable good friends and acceptance from peers. A Quest camper may also fail to achieve goals consistently and have more frustration than most children their age.
Quest campers may have diagnoses of ADHD, Adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, learning disabilities or self esteem problems. Children with severe aggressiveness and violent behavior are not suitable for Quest Camp.
We at Quest have been strongly committed to providing innovative, highly qualified mental health services in the East Bay for the past 27 years. During this time, many have professed expertise in assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and their families but few have had the success of the Quest staff. We provide accurate, ethical assessments and treatment that makes a difference.
