The second semester of the school year often presents more difficulties for children. After returning from winter break, teachers typically pick up the pace of academic instruction. During the first semester, a significant amount of time is spent on evaluating each child's skills and reviewing previous instruction. With the curriculum expectations increasing, children become more confused and frustrated. More homework and testing also puts increased stressed. Be observant to observe changes and provide additional support for your child. Inform the teachers to better understand what is going on at home.
